Private Event and Required Pre-Registration

Tango Maya Fest is a private event. All festival access requires pre-registration and prior confirmation.

There will be no drop-ins or door access.

Completing the registration form does not automatically guarantee your spot. All reservations are subject to availability, limited capacity, and role balance.

Your reservation is confirmed only once you receive our confirmation email and complete the corresponding payment.
Limited Capacity
-
Tango Maya Fest 2027 will have limited capacity in order to protect the quality of the experience, the comfort of the attendees, and the role balance.

The estimated capacity is 350 people, subject to the final capacity of the venues and the operational conditions of the event.

The organization may close registration, pause new reservations, or open a waiting list once maximum capacity is reached or whenever necessary to maintain role balance.
Role Balance

Each participant must indicate their predominant dance role, meaning the role they will dance most of the time during classes, prácticas, and milongas.

The leader discount applies only to participants who register and participate mainly as leaders. This benefit is subject to availability, review by the organization, and limited capacity.
Packages and Passes
Tango Maya Fest 2027 offers different participation options:

Custom Festival Pass from 6 to 15 days
Festival Passes do not include hotel accommodation unless expressly stated. Participants may stay wherever they prefer, including the host hotel if booking on their own or using the special group link, when available.
Flexible options for fewer days and day passes will open later, subject to availability.
VIP Hotel + Festival Package

The VIP Hotel + Festival Package is currently available for leader + follower couples sharing the same room.

It includes hotel and festival in one reservation, with a minimum stay of 6 nights at the host hotel:

Check-in: January 20

Check-out: January 26

The base package includes access to the Main Festival.

Extra hotel nights, additional festival days, or both may be requested, subject to availability and confirmation.
Included Room

The VIP Package includes a Room of the House, with garden or pool view, subject to availability.

The base room configuration includes two beds.
-
A king bed may be requested in advance, subject to availability, with a supplement of USD $13 per night.

Any upgrade, room category change, or additional benefit is subject to availability, current rates, and confirmation.
Host Hotel and Access

Staying at the host hotel is optional, but recommended for a more immersive experience.

Non-hotel guests will only have access to the designated event areas during official activity hours.

Access to the pool, restaurants, bars, beach club, or other hotel facilities may be reserved exclusively for hotel guests or depend on the hotel’s internal policies.
Included and Optional Activities

Passes include access to the official activities corresponding to the selected pass.

The Main Festival includes milongas, prácticas, shows, and workshops included in the general program.

Master classes, special classes, excursions, transportation, personal consumption, and premium experiences are not included unless expressly stated.

Pre-Fest and After-Fest days include access to the milonga, práctica, or official tango activity scheduled for that day.

Complementary activities may be free, require individual consumption, require advance reservation, or have an additional cost, depending on each case.
Schedule and Programming

The schedule may be subject to changes due to logistical, weather-related, artistic, operational, or force majeure reasons.

The organization may modify times, locations, teachers, artists, DJs, or activities, always aiming to preserve the overall quality of the experience.
Discounts and Promotions

Early Bird discounts, couple discounts, leader discounts, or other promotions are limited and subject to availability, valid dates, capacity, and specific conditions.

Completing the form does not automatically guarantee access to a discount.

Discounts are not cumulative unless expressly stated.
Payments and Confirmation

After receiving your form, we will review availability and send you your reservation details, payment instructions, and payment links by email.

Your reservation is confirmed only once you complete the corresponding payment.

It is the participant’s responsibility to provide correct contact information and to check their inbox and spam folder.
Reservation Changes
-
You may request changes such as adding nights, extending festival days, modifying accommodation details, or adding services.
-
All changes are subject to availability, deadlines, current rates, and confirmation by the organization.

Reductions in hotel nights, festival days, or partial cancellations may be subject to restrictions.
Cancellation Policy — VIP Hotel + Festival Package

A refund may be requested until October 21, 2026, with a 5% administrative penalty applied to the amount paid.
-
From October 22, 2026, full direct refunds will no longer be available. However, each case may be reviewed individually and, whenever possible, a partial refund, credit for future events, or name transfer may be offered, subject to availability, hotel conditions, and approval by the organization.

After December 21, 2026, cancellations, refunds, or modifications cannot be processed on a regular basis. In duly justified exceptional cases, the organization may review the situation, without guaranteeing a refund, credit, or transfer.

Bank fees, credit card fees, exchange rate differences, payment platform commissions, or external administrative charges may be deducted from any refund, when applicable.
Roommate

The organization may try to help participants find a roommate, but this service does not guarantee compatibility or availability.

The final responsibility for sharing a room and respecting roommate agreements belongs to the participants involved.
Participant Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their flights, travel documents, accommodation when not included, transportation, insurance, personal expenses, and any applicable immigration or health requirements.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Conduct and Community

Tango Maya Fest seeks to create a respectful, friendly, and safe environment.
-
The organization may deny access or remove from the event any person whose behavior affects the safety, well-being, or experience of other participants.
-
Aggressive, disrespectful, discriminatory, abusive, or invasive behavior will not be tolerated.
Use of Image
-
Photos and videos may be taken during the festival for promotional, documentary, and communication purposes.
-
By attending the event, participants accept that their image may appear incidentally in festival materials.
Acceptance of Terms

By completing the registration form, making a payment, or attending the festival, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

The organization may update these terms if necessary due to operational, logistical, or programming changes.
