Terms and Conditions
PRIVATE EVENT: Tango Maya is a private event that requires prior registration.
REGISTRATION: The only way to guarantee your place at the festival and at the hotel is through the selection of your favorite ambassador. Tango Maya Fest ambassadors are the only ones who can provide you with access to hotel room reservations and festival passes at group promotional prices.
DISCOUNTS: To enjoy special discounts, it is necessary to book the hotel through one of our ambassadors.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: If you decide to book elsewhere, you may face additional charges ranging from 50% to 100% of the festival cost. Be sure to register before you arrive at the event and check with one of our ambassadors before booking at non-official venues.
CAPACITY: The festival will only open 350 venues this year. As this is a pre-registered event, we will announce when the capacity limit has been reached and a waiting list will be opened to attend in case of cancellations by other attendees.
ROOM AVAILABILITY AND ASSIGNMENT: Maximum room capacity: 140 with group rate. 85 Deluxe Ocean View rooms, 55 Premier Ocean Front rooms. Upgrades available upon request.
MINIMUM STAY: All attendees who wish to book the hotel and festival package with us must consider a minimum group stay of 4 nights, from November 2 to 6.
STAY EXTENSIONS: Based on the minimum stay from November 2 to 6, you can extend 3 nights before and 3 nights after with a guaranteed group rate, that is, stays between October 30 and November 10.
DEPOSIT TO THE AMBASSADOR: To save your place at the festival, you must contact the ambassador and pay a deposit of $100 USD in advance of the festival pass.
REGISTRATION FORM: Once the deposit has been made to the ambassador, they will give you the complete registration form.
RESERVATION CONFIRMATION: The organization will contact you to follow up on the registration form and confirm all the details of the reservation, such as the room category, type of occupancy (single, double or triple), check-in dates and check-out, type of festival plan (silver or gold)
Once all the details are confirmed, an invoice will be sent with the total price of the package and a second payment will be required. The rest of the invoice will be paid upon arrival at the hotel directly at the front desk.
Roommate Matching Service:
Both the ambassadors and the organization will provide help with finding roommates. If you choose this option, you must accept the terms of service, which will be described in detail.
Changes to the hotel reservation:
The deadline for hotel itinerary extensions and date changes is August 20, with no additional charges. extensions and changes in your itinerary are subject to availability.
From August 20 to October 24, you can request extensions and changes to the reservation date subject to availability and current rates at the hotel.
You can request to change the type of occupancy, single to double or triple at any time without additional charge until before October 25.
You can request room upgrades until August 20 at a group rate.
From August 21 to October 25, you can request upgrades subject to the hotel's current rate. All upgrades are subject to availability.
We will not be able to make changes to the hotel reservation after October 25. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis and will be subject to availability and additional charges.
The hotel will charge USD 4 per night per room for local environmental tax. This payment will be made directly at the hotel reception when you check-in.
Cancellation policies:
Deposit Cancellation to Ambassador:
100% immediate refund until July 30th.
From July 31st to October 24th, credit for future events may be granted if the attendee, the ambassador, or the organization finds someone to take their place. As of October 25th, we will not be able to process cancellations.
Hotel and Festival Pass Cancellation:
100% immediate refund until July 30th.

Cancellation of Taxi Dancers:
Taxi Dancers fares are non-refundable. However, they are transferable or can be use as a credit for future events.
Transfer Cancellation Service:
If you wish to purchase this service, you must provide the complete information of your flight within the established deadlines and using the specific form that the organization will provide you.
If you do not meet these requirements, we will not be able to provide you with the transfer service.
This service is refundable until October 1.
